Work is No Work
Work is either fun or drudgery. It depends on your attitude. I like fun. (Colleen C. Barrett)
It was observed by industrial psychologists, that “highly effective people” (borrowing Stephen Covey’s term) are those who viewed work as no-work at all but a privilege and a calling. These people, they further assert, are the most creative individuals in the organization. Not only that, they spur others to do the same.
This view goes directly against the most common notion about work -as a burden laid on man. “Work for them becomes sacred and serving,” as F. J. Kong puts it. It is no longer a burden. It is no longer a 5-8 filling the time ritual every working day but something else, nobler, more fulfilling, and more dignified. Work is no-work when you enjoy doing it, you are purposeful, and your perspective is positive.
The true way to render ourselves happy is to love our work and find in it our pleasure. (Francoise de Motteville)
Cheers and have great week at work! ^^,

It’s gonna be tough for me, my job really sucks. I’ll try it though.
thanx.
I sure do need a lot of outlook makeover…=)
Find something you are passionate about doing and you will never work a day in your life again!
@ Tommy
That’s the spirit -there’s n harm trying. ^^,
@ Shie
Yeah, you sure do.
@ Wade
I agree with you completely there. When you are really passionate about your career or job, you will never get wary getting up in the morning or staying up late at nights.
Great insight their Wade.
Already hit my saturation point. Now I’m having trouble loving my work.. *sigh*
You need a vacation kcee. Or perhaps a little introspection and a change of perspective will do. ^^<
Cheers!
Vacation - not possible at this time. Introspection and change of perspective - long overdue. Thanks for reminding me, doc. =)
