A Matching Service for Small Business?

Five years in direct selling, I thought I knew everything there is to know about sales and marketing –I was wrong. This was further proved by an unsuccessful trading business that lasted only for almost two years. I really thought then that with my existing client portfolio, I will be able to sustain the business I put up. I was dead wrong.

You can only sell on a regular basis on an existing client if you are selling consumer goods that demand repeat buying. But for most of the non-consumer goods or services, you need to continuously find new customers and build a huge client base. There is no other way.

Client base development is not easy if you are doing all the work. Outside help, in this case, is necessary. It may cost a little or may add up to your overhead expenditures, but in the long haul, this will actually bring-in more profits to your business.

Javelin Marketing has that kind of expertise. They are able to bridge the gap between sellers and buyers. They bring your potential buyers or customers to a point where they will find a need for your products and services. They will supply the required information to stimulate their interest. Then they will facilitate your contact with these ready buyers or receptive customers. In effect, they act like a matching service. Had I known of this outfit at the early stage of my business, it would still be thriving today and perhaps I am not hammering these keyboard right now. Nevertheless, the experience has taught important lessons that I would have not learned in any other way.
